No matter how much you try top live an organized life, always feeling in control, life brings us surprises. In my case I've lived almost 50 years disabled using a wheelchair. I worked myself hard all the time. I got a Bach degree in Fine Arts, got a great job, got promoted and transferred to Toronto. I got a Masters of Arts in Human Resources while working full time. I fought the government to get the right to drive. I travelled overseas and across North America by air when I was told it was impossible. I was department head, and continued to fight. I went back to school to become a psychotherapist, and worked 10 years helping those with a new disability, and their family, figure out how to make the most of life as I have. I didn't do it all alone. I'm 68 and retired and my body is saying that I pushed too hard too long. I'm having health issues, and need to live where I get more help. Selling my slightly modified condo isn't an easy thing in this environment. I got lucky when I picked Daniel MacKay to help. My case is complicated in many ways, not to mention the first buyer who jumped ship at the last stage. Daniel hasn't missed a beat. He's always been there, always available at a moment's notice.
